Pools for grown ups

Think all Eurocamp’s pools are thrills and spills and waterslides? You’d be surprised...

There’s something about swimming outdoors in the sunlight that instantly works its stress-busting magic on us. And if that sounds like your kind of medicine too, come on in: we’ve plenty of pools designed to revive and rekindle your senses. No spraying elephants or tipping buckets to interrupt those laps. We promise.

Sure, there’s a time and a place for wild water-chutes and slippery slides (and if you’ve the time, we’ve definitely got the place) but give us the sun-warmed waters of an outdoor pool, a reviving dip in a vitality pool with soothing thermal jets, or simply a quick dip before a snooze on a sunbed...and we’re instantly in our happy place.

Here are just a few of our favourite parcs with pools that are perfect for grown ups. But it’s worth remembering that even our busiest and splashiest of splash parcs are a lot more peaceful when the kids are in school. Just saying!

De Twee Bruggen Campsite, Netherlands

De Twee Bruggen Village

Netherlands | Gelderland ★★★★★
Pools are something De Twee Bruggen does very well, whatever floats your boat. But you might be drawn to its heated indoor pool for your early morning constitutional. That said, the heated outdoor pool, far away from the waterslide pool, gets our vote too.
