Touring in Normandy and Paris

Beautiful French beaches are closer than you think. Much closer. The Normandy coastline is lined with golden sands and elegant seaside resorts. The Cotentin Peninsula is our favourite, within reach of Mont Saint Michel, the iconic Bayeux Tapestry and a cluster of fabulous bays.

It’s a leisurely three and a half hours’ drive along excellent roads to Berny, for your Paris-adjacent parc with big city thrills and culture aplenty (and Disneyland Paris within easy reach).

La Vallée ★★★★★

Normandy | France

The Normandy coast’s wide sandy beaches don’t get much more magnificent than the stretches that fan out in either direction from Houlgate, the nearest town to the fantastic La Vallée parc. Houlgate enjoys a handsome promenade lined with turn of the century Belle Epoque hotels and villas, artisans' galleries and plenty of sporting action, both on and off the water.

The town of Honfleur is still a busy port and marina. But now, the accent is on easy summer living, eating and shopping! Your parc offers all of this and more: La Vallée recently opened its incredible new jungle themed Spray Park with lots of fun water games.

Don’t miss a  trip to the D-Day landing beaches, very easily reached from Houlgate: once visited, never forgotten. This corner of France is a place of quiet contemplation, joyous days out along the coast, and historic attractions that will leave an indelible impression on you.

The Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park offer more than enough fun for a couple of days, with terrific rides, restaurants, parades and shows. Get here early, and plan your day, as there’s a lot to take in! But then again, there’s a few sights worth seeing in Paris too! But that’s the beauty of a stay at this magnificent parc: you’ve got all this, and more, an easy hour’s drive away from your holiday home.

La Croix dux Pont has four pools, including one with a retractable roof and an outdoor pool, and one with a sandy beach to play on. Add a whole host of sports and activities like canoeing, tennis and karting, and even a lake to go fishing in, and you can see why it’s regularly among our most-loved destinations. With more top-of-the-range Aspects and Azures than ever before, the living just got a whole lot easier too: a comfortable place to rest your head after a day’s sightseeing in Paris is guaranteed!
