The French Open

The French Open

The French Open, one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, is one of the biggest sporting events in France. For two weeks each year, the 500 best tennis players in the world battle it out on the clay courts of the famous Roland Garros Stadium. Why not see the winning serve for yourself next time?

Tour de France

Tour de France

The Tour de France is the world's best-known cycling race, taking place throughout July for a month each year. The race is broken into stages – made from individual races from one town to another – and competitors travel on circuits across France (and some neighbouring countries, too!) If cycling gets you in a spin, you should head to the Champs-Élysées and see the winner cross the Parisian finish line.

Golf, Paris

Golf

There are five courses close to Paris, including the Jack Nicklaus-designed Paris International Golf Club. If you’ve got a sharper aim, tee off at the Golf National close to Versailles. Or if you want a swing with a view, the Golf de Chantilly which is around 40 minutes to North of Paris, is the one for you.
