Taste The Alps
As with most alpine areas, the food tends to be hearty, though not necessarily heavy. Local specialities include Tartiflette, a potato dish made with the local Reblochon cheese. Or Raclette, where cheese is melted then scraped onto your plate, often accompanied by baked potato, ham and pickles. Wash it all down with Clairette de Die – a sparkling wine to die for.
