Our favourite things to do in France
Whilst you’re camping in France, you’ll never run out of things to do, or adventures to delve into. What do we love most about France? Here are just some of the highlights this country has to offer ...

Nature
The French countryside doesn’t get more delicious than the lavender fields of Provence, but if drama is more your thing, the limestone gorges and rivers of the Ardèche and Auvergne are spellbinding. The beauty of spending your holidays in France is that you also get to witness the lakes and waterfalls of the Jura.

Activities
The rivers of the Dordogne, the vistas of the Pyrenees and the foothills of the French Alps, or the crackle of the surf in Corsica. French holidays are tailor made for getting out there and enjoying the great outdoors. See you on the silent cycle lanes of Picardy!

Beaches
When you're camping in France and looking for sunny coves and rock pools, Brittany’s brilliant - close too! Wide stretches of soft sand and dunes await further south in the family-favourite, the Vendée, or for the ultimate sunny beach day head to Languedoc and Roussillon’s sultry shores.

Culture
History is alive and tangible in France - as any exploration of the châteaux of the Loire will testify. Culture doesn’t get more delicious than the wine cellars of Bordeaux, Gironde so be sure to put that on your itinerary during your camping holiday in France. Paris, of course, is a cultural pick and mix, but so to are the coastal resorts of Normandy.
