Kart Cross Porec

Kart Cross, Porec

A thrill a minute, Kart Cross offers high speed thrills on a bumpy, muddy, twisting track. But if that sounds too hairy, toy with the idea of radio-controlled karts, or take a quad bike into the countryside.

Scuba diving, Croatia

The famously clear seas off the Istrian coast make this an ideal diving location, especially with a range of ancient artefacts under the sea. Courses are available at a number of centres, but even experienced divers will need a permit.

Tennis has been popular in Croatia since Goran Ivanisevic’s successes. There’s plenty of courts, nowhere more so than the superb Tennis Camp Umag, which boasts more than 60.

Croatia’s breathtaking scenery makes walking and hiking a pleasure. You’ll find trails everywhere, but to pick the pick of them, head for the national parks such as Brijuni, Mijet and Plitvice Lakes.

windsurfing in croatia

Many schools make light work of learning to windsurf. Calm seas and reliable winds make Croatia the ideal place for the sport. Kamenjak, to the south of Pula, is considered one of the best windsurfing areas.
