Sightseeing

Cecina has back-to-back festivals from July through to September including antiques, arts and music. A visit to the area wouldn't be complete without a visit to Pisa and its leaning tower, just 45 minutes away.

Accesa Archaeological Park

For an active day out visit Accesa Archaeological Park in Massa Marittima. There is a two and a half hour trail that passes lots of archaeological sites where you can see Etruscan findings dating back to the 6th century.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see the iconic leaning tower of Pisa - it is only a 45 minute drive away. And once you’ve taken the signature photo you can explore the wealth of cathedrals and palaces the city has to offer.   

Off Parc Activities

The nearest beach, Cecina Mare, is excellent for swimming and is just 9 km away. It is also good for windsurfing, so why not hire one on the beach and give it a go? Even closer than the beach you will find horse riding stables if you fancy trotting through the gorgeous Tuscan countryside.

In summer the tourist board organises cycling and walking tours from the nearby Bibbona to the “Macchia della Magona”, a beautiful stretch of pine forest teeming with wildlife.
