Climbing

Climbing

The rugged and mountainous terrain of the Languedoc makes this a great area for climbing and Les Sablons is a perfect location, with no less than six crags within driving distance. La Crouzade (La Clape), with an altitude of 40m, is one of the best crags in the area with a good variety of popular climbing routes on slabs, walls and gentle overhangs. Another great crag with good quality rock is La Chandelle (La Clape), which offers steep slabs and wall climbing. It’s also a pleasure to head back to the parc when the temperature heats up, where you can cool down in the pool or take advantage of the parc’s direct access to a sandy beach and chill out in the waves.
