The site itself was lovely, pool complex was great and the children's play areas were fab. The couriers were useless, we didn't see them until we complained about our caravan. We were given a map to find our caravan which wasn't great after driving 700 miles. The caravan was horrible, broken parts, dirty outside, moldy umbrella, rotten decking and majority wasn't fixed before we left.

Our accomodation was very clean, but the outside could do with a good scrub. We paid a high price for our accommodation, but there was better available on site cheaper, from other companies. The camp site was great, our children & the children of the family who joined us, ages ...6yrs,10, 12,13,15yrs had a great time. I would recommend this camp site The staff of the camp site were lovely. The representative , for Eurocamp was very nice, but not very informed, on asking a few Basic question, about the camp site , the answer come back as " I don't know ,I've only been here 2 weeks" Now two days should be enough time to walk around the camp and find out were everything is, so you can tell your customers, We found out the answer to our question , in half hour of walking around.

We loved our stay. Staff very friendly. Could however do with having more accurate information for guests. (Shops nearby. Note on wall naming towns to go through to find Aldi. Actually taking a road towards a town and going through another in opposite order and Aldi on left not right)
Not being able to give or get a return price is a factor in deciding to return too.
Overall though we truly had a great time. Check in and out was seamless.

The campsite itself is lovely. Very well set out for children. The facilities are great, the pol, the lake. The shop is expensive but you'd expect that. The restaurant is very reasonable which was a lovely surprise. The tree climbing was amazing, the canoeing was great fun. The only let down was the accommodation. It was not 5 star as advertised. The caravan was dirty on he outside, the windows were filthy. The mat inside the door was so full of dirt and dust that after wiping your feet you brought in more dirt. The upholstery is badly stained and the cushions don't fit the base, so the two end cushions kept falling off. One of the end cushions also blocked the door into the bedroom as it's too big. There was a used toilet brush under our deck. There were no sheets or towels there when we arrived, I went and asked for them and he said he would deliver them to us which he did. One set of sheets/towel was very damp. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the eurocamp rep, and while he's a lovely lad, he just shrugged his shoulders and apologised. There were only 6 knives, forks and spoons, 5 glasses and no wire tray in the grill pan. The towel hooks on the door don't hold the towels, they just slip off. These seem like small things but it's so annoying to have to pick up your towel every time you close the door and it would be so easy to remedy. 2 of the outside chairs were badly broken, as in bits of them we're on the floor. They were replaced immediately when we told the Rep but again, not acceptable standards. I would recommend the campsite but would definitely not recommend eurocamp.

We know how important it is for our customers to arrive to clean and well prepared accommodation for a great holiday, so we're sorry to hear that this wasn't the case on this occasion. Ensuring that accommodation is fully cleaned and that the inventory is intact ahead of the arrival of our customers are key priorities to us and we do emphasis the importance of these to our team. We train our couriers to prepare our mobile homes to a high standard, therefore it is frustrating when we learn that on occasion this has not been the case. Whilst an apology doesn't change the experience, we do hope you have a change of heart and give us another chance to reassure you of our usual high standards. Thanks for your feedback. Limerick.
This was our second visit to Val de Bonnal, our previous visit took place during a heatwave and we wanted to return and visit again. Unfortunately while we were there it was the complete opposite of our previous visit and was wet and cold at times.

There was a problem with our initial accommodation and we had to change. Both accommodations were dated and in need of some TLC.

The restaurant situation hasn't changed much either - unfortunately the takeaway still makes McDonalds seem like a posh restaurant.

We didn't use the pool facilities however we did enjoy walking in the extensive grounds of the parc. Unfortunately there was also a fly infestation in the parc and it wasn't comfortable.

Would we return? No. Nor would we be likely to recommend the parc. If we wanted to drive the Alsace Route des Vins or see places like Colmar and Riquewihr again, we would stay in a more central location.

The Eurocamp couriers were the jewel in this crown. Chris and Luke were absolutely fabulous when we had our accommodation problem. Luke, in particular, went beyond the call of duty. He was off duty, spending time with his parents, but stopped everything and immediately started to resolve the issue.
