The camp itself was good . We enjoyed it kids enjoyed it. However, shop there is expensive. I was disappointed that when you step outside the campsite there is nothing. No coffee shop with pastries, no shops etc. Lidl was 1.5 km away with no directions , you need a car . If you had kids you couldn't expect them to walk there. bidart village is only 2km away and you could get on a bus in to it but again there was nothing there a few coffee shops I think belonging to hotel that were expensive

Le Ruisseau is a very relaxed campsite and the free bus service is a huge plus. The adventure park and the onsite restaurant are very good.
However I would not return to this campsite as the facilities were poor eg toilets and laundry rooms. The toilets are unisex when you did find them and filthy. The kids toilets were use for all .
The shop was use absolutely the worse shop I have ever seen. We needed it as we did not hire a car . The bread was handled by the same person handling money and bread and no paper was wrapped around it.
There is no direct bus to supermarket and getting a taxi was not possible as they had to come from Biarritz.. It's only 2km away but very dangerous to walk as no foot paths and with kids and bags is not easy.
Overall the kids enjoyed the campsite, staff were v friendly and the staff in restaurant are v nice.
The local beach is beautiful and Biarritz is a beautiful town

Cobh, Co. Cork.
Excellent park with lovely pool facilities, walks, sports, zip wiring. Great for kids. Lovely food in restaurant and poolside bar. The poolside bar could be better staffed but the girl working there (the French/English girl) was wonderful and helpful at all time and rushed off her feet. The Eurocamp Couriers were very helpful, especially James and Megan. I can't remember the other names. My only complaint is that when we arrived about 8 o clock in the evening they didn't show us to our cabin and we had to try and find it ourselves in the rain. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Biarritz and Jean St. Luz well worth a visit.

We enjoyed the pool and slides hugely but we were very disappointed with the lazy river which had no moving current at all and also you had to pay 2euro for each family member to enter that area for only two hours. Facilities were very good eg. zip wire, but a lot of extra hidden costs to use them. Very safe campsite. Quiet at night.

Had booked Third year in a row with Eurocamp booked last August 2016 for this year's holiday and requested that we be situated adjoining Bar/ Restaurant side which was noted on our booking form which rules out crossing a very busy road & trying to maneouvere a car in around a congested park area which July is .After a 9 hour drive from Roscoff we arrived at Le Ruisseau in 35 Degree Heat to be greeted by a Female Courier with a set of keys & a map with green highlighter showing our accommodation and yes we were placed on the far over side of the Park which we did not want it was met with a shrug of the shoulders by this lady when I informed her we booked nearly a year ago and specifically requested the Main Part of The Campsite .So when I asked her to esçort us over She also informed me they don't do that anymore so off we went enraged & upset to try and find pitch 169 which on locating was as far away from anything you could hope for in a dull far off corner of the campsite. So essentially our holiday despite our protests to Head Office is down to Teenage Couriers deciding to place you where they feel like with no recourse to switch or relocate I also felt British Customers get the best spots and the Irish the less desirable . I paid very good money for this holiday and when I met people staying with rival operators paying nothing like Eurocamp fees and having prime slots near the Outside Pool & Bar /Restaurant it was galling . The mobile itself was excellent and very clean and any request for Gas was promptly attended to but sadly the location and lack of empathy by On site & Eurocamp who contacted me on Tues 18th July means I will never use Eurocamp again . Teenager should not be able to dictate the Holiday enjoyment or otherwise of a hard saved for much longer for Vacation.
