Gorgeous gorges you can explore by canoe

Weave through French countryside, past medieval villages and you will find St Avit Loisirs, one of the country’s premier campsites.

Life at this lush and leafy site is packed with outdoor pursuits for all your family to choose from, including tennis and quad biking. Rustic, stone-built Périgordin buildings house an on-site restaurant and bar terrace, which overlook an outdoor pool complex. The campsite offers a total of four pool complexes, including an indoor tropical-style swimming pool, a kids’ play pool and a lazy river. If you can tear yourself away from the poolside, why not take a trip to central Le Bugue?

Overall a great destination, great facilities, only downside was outside pools arent heated so if the weather is anyway cold (which it was before we arrived) the outside pools are freezing! Blankets in the cabin werent clean and extremely dusty but staff replaced them the next day. We had looked at vacated Avant and Aspect homes with the view of trying them next year and it was obvious they'd been empty for days as fridges were open, full of old food and flies everywhere, disgusting! Should these not be emptied and at the very least roughly cleaned on day of departure? Very poor effort on the staff. Personally seen 5 homes like this. Beautiful area of France and would definitely return but think eurocamp standards have slipped in the last few years.. hope to see improvements next year!

This is a very over-rated park. It is a very hilly park but this is not mentioned in any brochure or on the website. The mobile we stayed in was very old and had a number of things broken in it. We reported all broken and missing things but only some things were fixed/ replaced. Our shower emptied directly on to the grass below. We reported this twice and by the time we left ( over 3 weeks later) it still hadn't been fixed. Our pitch was terrible as it sat on the edge of a very steep hill. The park is not lively and completely lacked atmosphere although the pool area is nice and the kids enjoyed the slides. Eurocamp's new policy of not showing people to their mobiles on arrival is terrible customer service. After driving long hours to reach the site we were handed a map by the courier with our pitch marked on it. We spent 15 minutes driving around the park looking for the accommodation as the park has paths going off in all directions. I really don't think it is too much to ask that customers be shown to their accommodation on arrival. Eurocamp seems to be chipping away at their customer service over the past few years ( remember maps, toys for kids, beach bags and the welcome bottle of wine?- all gone! ) but I haven't seen a reduction in their prices.

We're truly sorry to hear that you were disappointed with some aspects of your holiday. In particular, we're sorry to hear that you encountered some issues with your accommodation and that you had trouble resolving them. We can imagine how frustrating this may have been, so we apologise for this. We pride ourselves in Customer Service so it's disappointing to learn that you found our holiday couriers not as helpful as you would have liked them to be. Your feedback is key in helping us to improve our customer's holiday experience, so we thank you for that. Customer Care Team.

A wonderful site with great facilities especially for teenagers. Outside the site there are so many beautiful villages and towns to visit. We look forward to returning.

A most wonderful parc with all you would want on site. Amazing countryside and places to visit. The staff on site were very attentive and strict in the pool area and after hours , making you feel very safe to let your children have some freedom and you some peace. The bar and restaurant were nice and clean with friendly staff.
Our linen and towels that were ordered and paid for in advance was not in our home when we arrived and failed to materialize that evening even though staff were informed. After a very long drive we had to sleep on bare mattresses and pillows. That was our only criticism.
We would definitely return to this parc in the future.

This is our 2nd year in St Avit Loisirs and we love it there. The campsite is set amongst trees and there's a nice amount of space between the mobile homes. Our kids had a fabulous time in the kids clubs -the kids club couriers were great- and we all spent hours in the pool and slides.

Beautiful location. Pools slides excellent. However i would have safety concerns around the metal stairs leading to the water slide into the upper pool. This should be changed to wider stone steps. Accomodation layout in espace mobile home was good but the home itself was old and shabby.
