A beach for every day of the week? Almost…
If multiple beaches, your own windsurfing school and endless days of sunshine feature on your holiday wishlist, don’t miss Šimuni Camping Village on Pag Island, Croatia.
We couldn’t resist setting up camp here once we saw the 6 beaches – all accessed directly from site, with one that has a playground for kids – plus a water sports centre and diving club offering trips to underwater caves. Back on dry land, you’ll find a restaurant, pizzeria by the beach, coffee bar, cocktail bar, supermarket and daily fish market. Other facilities include tennis courts, beach volleyball and a payable climbing wall, with instructors on hand to help. The parc organises lots of entertainment and events throughout July and August, including weekly fire shows and movie nights.
While there is no swimming pool on parc, who needs a pool when you can dip into crystal clear seas right on your doorstep? With six beaches to choose from (plus one for dogs) and warm azure waters, you can sit back and relax, or get active with one of the many watersports on offer.
Golden Beach is the central beach; long and sandy, there are pedalos and kayaks and a great sea aqua park with giant water trampolines and inflatable water slides. The other beaches are more pebbly - White Seagull Beach is the place to go for water action with a diving centre, windsurfing, jet skis and other water sports. Two Sailors Beach is perfect for young families with shallow waters and a play area.
Charges will apply for the Aquapark and water sports, to be paid locally/directly.
