Surrounded by sea, and there’s even Tai Chi

Few areas in Croatia are graced with as much superb natural beauty as the Lanterna Peninsula on the Adriatic Sea, between Porec and Novigrad.

Surrounded on three sides by the clean blue waters of the Adriatic is Camp Lanterna. This large parc enjoys a strong Italian influence and is surrounded by pine trees, close to the edge of a gorgeously unspoilt coastline. It has a pool complex, play areas, games rooms, and direct access to a pebble beach. During the day, enjoy all that the parc has to offer, including a range of sports and water sports. If you want to venture off parc, why not go exploring and take in the vineyards and mountains of the national parks, or try out the fabulous new waterpark - Aquacolors Porec? Then, if you like a little dancing, head for the discos once the sun goes down.

This is a lovely campsite with endless amenities and activities for all the family. We had a lovely pitch with views over the sea which was an added extra. I would certainly recommend it.

The eurocamp mobile home was shabbier than ones we previously stayed in . The deck had two posts that were rotting and crumbling at the top. The outdoor furniture was grubby and I had to scrub bird poo off the deck chairs. Inside was clean except for the glasses and cups. We washed those ourselves. Overall very disappointing.

A v good holiday overall despite being v expensive, we've being doing this type of holiday since 2003 and, with the exception of France, this has been the next most expensive country to visit campsite wise. The reason we don't go to France any more is down to two reasons, the cost and the arrogance and unfriendliness of the people, I hope Croatia doesn't go down the same road as it would be a shame if people stopped going there, or didn't even start, as they are sitting on a Natural Tourist Expansion, and Beauty.

No communication with Eurocamp Couriers during the hoilday. We saw the Eurocamp Couriers the night we arrived was told he would come back the next day and saw him again the day before we left. Very little information regarding locations of camp facilitates. We had problems with are air-con, we would have liked to had been showed how to use it. Another family had to show us as how to use and they had the same problem. The shop on site was very over priced and the nearest shop out side the camp was 45mins walk or 5-10mins in the car. The nearest town was at least a 45min walk/15mins in the car. There was very little atmosphere within the camp from the entertainment team. This is the first camp the I have been too that you were expected to paid for sun lounges at the two pools and the beach area, most of the time they were not in use and a lot of people lied on the ground or the grass.

We had an amazing time here lots of variety and choice of water sports and beaches. The scenery was breathtaking. So much to do on site and in the local area. Would definitely recommend this site and look forward to going here again

We found the camp very clean and safe for families in general. However our classic mobile home was of very poor standard, very run down with mould in shower area and floors looked liked hadn't been cleaned properly when we arrived. We also had problem with ants coming into the mobile when we reported it to eurocamp rep we were given can of ant spray with no follow up call or visit. The mobile was also 2km from main reception area and walking this is 30degree heat to get something from supermarket was difficult with two kids!We had no wifi at all in our mobile so kids were very disappointed as it clearly stated in brochure about free WiFi, we had to wait to get to pool area to access internet.Very limited choice of food and very poor entertainment at night for both kids and adults.Clearly entire camp is geared towards German market.

Thank you for your feedback. We want all of our customers to have an enjoyable holiday with us, and so it's such a shame to hear about your recent disappointment. Although you can come into contact with wildlife whilst camping an ant infestation is certainly not a common thing. Your feedback has been passed on to the relevant departments so that we can monitor this and resolve any issues should they persist. We hope to welcome you again in the future, to reassure you how fantastic our holidays can be. Customer Care Team.
