St Malo is close by, offering a castle, museums, and family favourite Le Grand Aquarium, plus an array of restaurants to choose from. Historical Mont St Michel and medieval Dinan are also within driving distance of the campsite, making for great days out. If you fancy venturing a little further out, why not hop on a boat and visit the nearby islands of Jersey and Guernsey? Further afield at St Martin de Landelles is the L'Ange Michel Park, fun for all the family.

To get up close and personal with nature visit the Grand Aquarium St Malo, where they have a large touch pool to feel some of Brittany’s marine species. And you can also sail on board a real submarine!

It is just over 25 km from the parc and the most visited place in Brittany, St Malo, can be found a similar distance away. St Malo is a modern port city but rich in culture and heritage.

Château de Galinée is a perfect parc for venturing to local villages and has lots of interesting surrounding areas. St Cast also has its own charm with white sandy beaches.

If you want to explore far and wide a 75 minute boat trip from St Malo will take you to Jersey or you can be in Guernsey in just under two hours.

Just over 40 km away lies Pleugeneuc and the Château Bourbansais. This is a beautiful 16th century building situated in large grounds. It is also home to a large zoo where over 500 animal species are free to wander around, as are the children.

Tour de France

With gruelling routes covering some of France's most beautifully scenic regions, the Tour de France is an iconic cycle race, attracting huge crowds along the route. The Grand Départ of 2018 takes place on the 7th July starting on the Island of Noirmoutier. The early stages of the race go through the Vendée and Brittany regions. As usual there are exciting mountains stages in the French Alps and the Pyrenees.The races finishes in Paris on the 29th July.

Off Parc Activities

Brittany is a great place to be active and try new sports. There are places to try sailing, windsurfing, or even sand-yachting. Brittany is also home to thirty golf courses so you are never far from somewhere to tee off.

If you fancy trying scuba diving then it is just 8 km away, as is windsurfing and canoeing.

For something a little more relaxing St Cast has a lot of delightful coastal walks or you can explore on horseback, as riding facilities are just 1 km from the parc.
