This popular resort is all about the beach with just over 16km of golden sand, backed by a paved walkway, busy shops and scores of restaurants, cafes and ice-cream parlours. In the evenings the street is pedestrianised and is a great place to walk, shop, eat and drink.
If you want to feel a rush of blood to the head then Aqualandia may have what you are looking for... its home to a terrifying bungee jump and some extreme slides. Themed around a Caribbean Isle, cool off in the fantastic lagoons and wave pools, then enjoy one of great shows.
Jesolandia Amusement Park is nearby. There are lots of classic rides as well as high adrenaline ones. It is a night time attraction, opening at 8 pm, although it is very child friendly. Also close at hand is the Pista Azzurra – one of the most important go-karting tracks in Europe.

This, the main event in the annual 'Voga alla Veneta' rowing calendar has been practiced in Venice for thousands of years. 16th Century style boats and gondoliers clad in period attire sail up the Grand Canal in a colourful parade before the actual races begin. There are four races - the most exciting being the Campioni su Gondolini where a series of small racing gondolas fly down the Grand Canal to the finishing line at the 'machina', the spectacular floating stage situated in front of the Ca' Foscari palace.
Jesolo hosts a spectacular European air show every year in August, watched by more than 500,000 spectators on the beach. For over three hours the Italian Air Force, Italian Acrobatics Team and other air forces, show off their flying skills above the waterfront.
The last Venetian regatta of the season takes place around the island of Burano which you can easily reach from Venice via boat. The event usually begins late in the afternoon - around 4pm.
