- This campsite has rules and if that's ok with you then this is a nice campsite. I would say it's best for couples with young children up to ten years of age. It's a relatively large site and takes a few days to find your bearings. Things we didn't like were as follows: The pool closes between 1 and 3 in the afternoon. You have to book and pay for a bed at the pool. The problem with this is that beds are offered online and are bookable on a weekly basis so the day we arrived all the beds were already fully booked. What's more frustrating is that the beds are lying there empty as people don't use them all day or may go to the beach instead so while we had to lie on hard decking over half the beds were empty and the staff are vigilant about not letting anyone use booked beds. It's very frustrating considering the distance and expense families have gone to to come on holidays and can't even get a comfortable bed to lie on at the pool. aaarrggghh. The only people benefiting are the campsite as a huge amount of revenue is generated from renting these beds. The beach is lovely - the water is a beautiful temp and very safe. The restaurant on site is excellent...The best pizzas we had in Italy (I know!). We've stayed in better campsites in France and will therefore not return to this or maybe any site in Italy.
